From Oxshott station we walk through woods and heathland (Oxshott Heath and Esher Common) to reach West End Common (lunch stop: pub, Garsons Farm (cafe) both with toilets. Picnic on the common with benches. We then follow the River Ember to Molesey Heath then East Molesey along the Mole to the finish at Hampton Court Station..
We have a good choice of facilities at the lunch stop but please note that there is no seating at drinks stops on this walk. Except for two small hills, this walk is mainly flat. There is likely to be mud and sticks are recommended.
Meet outside Oxshott station ticket office. Buy single to Oxshott. SUR 10.28 to Oxshott 10:39. Start time: 10:45.
Trains leaving from Hampton Court Station serve all the stations to London Waterloo. Trains leave at 24 and 55 minutes past the hour.
