Walkers must book in advance with the walk leader
A walk to a seldom visited summit near Conic Hill with extensive views in all directions.
We follow good forest tracks for 6 km, gaining 275m of ascent before venturing onto open hillside for the last 140 m to the summit of Gualann. There are extensive views in all directions from here. The return to the car park is over pathless moorland before following a fire break back to our outward route.

Terrain: 5.5 km of rough, pathless, wet hillside but 7.5 km of reasonable paths and tracks.
