Overview

Round walk from Guildford. A hilly walk in the North Downs with a mixture of country footpaths, tracks and lanes. Via the gardens of Guildford Castle we climb steeply to Pewley Down. Continuing along the ridge we reach Newlands Corner, our picnic lunch stop (café and toilets available). Then descending we follow the valley through Chantries wood to Shalford Park and back to Guildford.
