The North Downs Way, picturesque Shere and St Martha-on-the-Hill Church.
Walk starts and ends in historic Guildford. We will be walking along the River Wey into Blackheath Forest and Foxholes Wood and on to the picturesque village of Shere. From there the route follows the Pilgrims Way along the foot of the Downs. The walk continues to the hilltop church of St Martha-on-the-Hill, on to Pewley Hill, and ends at Guildford.
