A moderate walk that takes us through Hailey Wood and Oakley Wood to Sapperton. We will descend into the lovely Sapperton valley, following the dis-used Severn-Thames canal and River Frome to Frampton Mansell.
From there we have half a mile of road walking before we join a footpath that takes us across farmland towards Tarlton. Before we reach Tarlton we enter Hailey Wood at its southern tip and finish the walk at the former sawmill.
There is one gate with a deep drop that is difficult to navigate.
