Overview

Today's walk will take us through scenic woodland and the quaint, small village of Hambleden.

We'll start from Mill End car park, heading west toward Greenlands then north where we will go through Great Wood. Here, we join Shakespeare's Way for a bit until we reach Gussetts Wood.

From here, we'll follow the footpath next to Dudley Lane until we reach our lunch stop at Old Luxters Barn. If we're lucky enough for it to be open, there may be a food truck and winery/brewery shop here.

After lunch, we'll go through more woods until we reach Skirmett Road. We'll then take the footpath south at Colstrope Lane that will take us to Hambleton, home of a 12th Century Church. We may have a pub stop at The Stag and Huntsman, depending on time and numbers.

After Hambleden, we'll take the path a short way back to the car park and bus stop.
