Overview

This 5 mile circular takes us north from Woodcote to Braziers Common and Checkendon Court. Our walk starts in the village of Woodcote, in the Chiltern Hills. We head north out of Woodcote following a small section of the Chiltern Way leading us to Brazier's Common. After walking through Braziers Common (which should be blanketed in Bluebells!) we turn south towards Checkendon Court, a country house built in the sixteenth century. We then have a small section of road walking (due to some over-enthusiastic cows encountered on the recce!!) before passing through the grounds of The Oratory School and back into Woodcote. There are some hills on this walk but we will take them at a gentle pace and appreciate the views the hills provide!
