Overview

There are extensive views of Rutland Water throughout this walk around the Hambleton peninsular.  The footpaths go through woodlands and along the shoreline.  Bring provisions for a mid morning and lunchtime break.

The meeting point is off the Old Stamford Road, now a no through road since the creation of Rutland Water at the junction with Oakham Road. Park considerately along road verge of Old Stamford Road.
