A varied, slightly challenging walk, in Reivers territory. Lovely far-reaching views on a good day. Taken at a comfortable walking pace. Varied terrain. Road at the beginning and the end. Hillside paths and farm tracks, sections of quite rough ground, some long grass and conditions can be muddy.  No big climb, but the route is undulating, with some short sharp climbs. Possibility of cattle in the vicinity at various points on the walk.

Full hill walking gear, strong boots/shoes, & walking poles recommended.
