This scenic route begins in the heart of Harrietsham and follows stretches of the iconic North Downs Way. As the trail winds across the Kent countryside, walkers are treated to panoramic views of rolling fields, woodlands, and chalk ridges. Whether you're drawn to sweeping vistas or the gentle rhythm of village life, this walk offers a refreshing escape into nature, perfect for those seeking both beauty and tranquillity.
This scenic route takes you through field paths and rural tracks, with one relatively high slope to climb. Walkers will encounter a number of stiles and gates along the way most of which are in good condition.
A short nibble break is planned during the walk.
Well behaved small dogs are welcome on this walk but must be on a short lead at all times.
In one field the grass is quite high and therefore I recommend not wearing shorts but long trousers to avoid being stung by some nettles.
For those wishing to round off the day with a visit Percival's Rest the local village pub please note that they no longer serve any food at lunch time only drinks.
