Overview

Rambling alongside Heapey Fishing Reservoirs to White Coppice where we cross over The Goit onto the edge of the West Pennine Moors. At the lower southern end of Wheelton Plantations we again cross over The Goit to head towards the Logwood Mill area. Heading on the track in a SW direction we arrive at the road junction where we take the route down Scow Croft Lane from which we take the path around The Lowe to the Cricket Ground at White Coppice. Then we head back to the starting point via White Coppice Farm.
