Overview

Following a recce of the originally planned route, the planned route is now as follows:

We will head from Cleveland Way Car Park in Helmsley up the Cleveland Way to Riveaulx Abbey, before doing a loop near Riveaulx before heading back along the Cleveland Way back to Helmsley.
