Overview

A leisurely-paced, mostly flat walk along the River Thames via Hambleden village (one part can be wet).

Drop out point: Hambleden, for an infrequent bus service back to Henley.

Food: picnic/café.

Travel: Paddington 10.35 (GWR service to Didcot Parkway), arriving Twyford 11.07 and changing there for the 11.15 to Henley, arriving 11.27.  Buy a day return to Henley.  Freedom Pass holders will find it cheaper to use their pass on the Elizabeth Line departing Paddington at 10.17, calling at Ealing Broadway 10.26, arriving at Twyford 11.03 and to buy a day return from Twyford to Henley.
