A brisk, bucolic walk through the rolling hills of the high weald in East Sussex, including a few miles along the edge of Bewl Water, and the rest consisting of open fields and woodland. A walk that is undulating, but with no particularly big hills and a total ascent of 531 metres. Lunch will be at around 7 miles by the cafe at Bewl Water, which is slightly earlier than I would prefer, but it is the best place as it has the cafe, toilet and plenty of benches. There will then be a pub stop in the village of Ticehurst at around two thirds distance. There will also be a pub at the end in the historic village of Robertsbridge.
Please bring a packed lunch.
