From the RSPB car park we will head towards Higham Marshes via West Court Farm and Church Street. From the Marshes we will walk towards Higham creek and Cliffe Fort, where we will stop for lunch. We will then continue along the shoreline and circle around Cliffe Pools back to the car park.
Please bring along a packed lunch. Sturdy walking boots, not trainers recommended.
Mostly flat with a couple of small steep banks. There are several styles and we cross a railway line three times. Can be very wet and muddy so sturdy walking boots recommended.
Meet and park at RSPB Car Park, Salt Lane, Cliffe. There is no postcode that will take you directly to the car park. What three words is packet.wiring.transfers. Alternatively head to Salt Lane, Cliffe in Sat Nav. Carry on down the lane past the gravel works on your left until you come to a mini roundabout. Go straight across and the entrance to the car park is immediately on your right.
