We are the Lower Wye Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We start with a long climb up along woodland tracks and moorland before heading down to join the Wye Valley Walk, passing Biblins Bridge and continuing on towards the “Rapids” before our ascent back up to the top. Our return takes us past King Arthur’s Cave before we descend back down to the start.
Coffee and lunch break (packed lunch required).
This walk is graded “Moderate+” (Ramblers Handbook) due to length and ascents. A good level of fitness is required for this walk.
Stiles - 1
Little Doward Woods Car Park (free parking). Head from Chepstow to Monmouth. Take the A40 towards Dixton roundabout heading up the hill and on reaching the brow take the left turn towards Ganarew crossing over the bridge, bearing left at the junction and the car park will be almost immediately on your right.
