Overview

This walk begins in Hillington and heads out toward Roydon, passing through the quiet landscapes alongside Hudson’s Fen before reaching the wide, open heathland of Roydon Common. From there, the route continues to the historic Castle Rising Church, offering a glimpse of the village’s medieval past. The return leg follows the gentle course of the Babingley River, winding back through peaceful countryside to Hillington.
