Overview

A walk exploring both the shoreline and several local nature reserves. with the added attraction of a ferry ride.

From Holly Hill woodland park the route will take us through Swanwick Lakes and Wood before crossing the River Hamble to Bursledon. We will then head down to the coast at the Royal Victoria Country Park. The coast of Southampton Water will then be followed to Hamble village where we will catch the ferry across the river before following the riverside path back.

No major hills but should be plenty of natural and nautical interest.

The ferry costs £2.50 cash only.
