Start at Brabyns Park Car Park on Brabyns Brow, Marple Bridge. A short walk from Marple Railway Station.

Dogs welcome but must be on a short lead at all times.
Please aim to arrive 15minutes before the start time if possible.
We will set off at 11am along Brabyns Brow to the canal path to Strawberry Hill where we will stop for a break at around 12ish. We then cross the railway line onto the Cown Edge Way. Mellor Church will be our venue for lunch where our short climb will be rewarded with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. After lunch we will stroll through Mellor Hall, onto Hollywood End where we start our return journey via Mill Brow where, time permitting, we will have our afternoon break. We then cross Townscliffe Lane and back to the car park via Bottoms Bridge and Low Lea Road.
The terrain is up and down with 1058 feet of ascent spread across the day. We will go across farmland, into woods and along the canal, crossing the river Goyt and various streams.
