We are the Bath Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join is for a dog friendly walk. We head out past the Glove Factory Studios through several fields into Great Chalfield where there is a lovely National Trust manor house well worth a future visit. We cross more fields to Broughton Gifford, and return via more fields and Holt to St Katharine's Church, which is very close to another NT property, The Courts, with superb gardens and takeaway refreshments. Alternatively visit the cafe at the Glove Factory Studios.
The walk is mainly in the open countryside, with generally flat landscapes over several fields plus some quiet lanes. Muddy in some fields if there has been recent rain.
Bring a drink and a light picnic lunch for short stops during the walk.

Meet outside St Katharine's Church, Ham Green, Holt BA14 6PZ, ready to start walking at 10.00 am. NT members who bring their NT cards can park in NT car park near the village hall, and walk back to St Katherine's Church. Otherwise please park considerately in the village.
