Meet at Paisley Gilmour Street Station in time for the 10.25 a.m. train to Howwood arriving at 10.35 a.m. The walk will commence at the Village Hall car park, New Avenue, Howwood, situated across the road from the railway station. Those making their own way can park at the Village Hall.
This is a circular walk mainly on country roads with slight, gradual inclines at times. Towards the last section of the walk, approaching the Semple Trail, we leave the country roads and follow more of a farm track and overgrown path that may well be muddy.
There are no toilets on the walk.
