Overview

From car park at North end of Ferry Rd, (SS5 6PA or w3w ///hippy.enclosing.wallet) Hullbridge to Hockley and return. Route includes some hard foot way adjacent to road. We will pass through wooded areas, open fields, cross fields with grazing horses and climb up to St Peter's church. Some stiles on return leg. Brief refreshment and comfort stop in Hockley. (Public WC in car park both at Hullbridge and Hockley). We will cross the London - Southend railway line twice, first at track level, second via a foot bridge.

Approx. 6 mile walk, should take 3-3½hours.
