Via Minsted, Minching Lane, Bepton Church, Bepton Down, South Downs Way (briefly), Didling Hill, Didling Church, Elsted Marsh, Fitzhall, and Iping Common. Most of the walk is fairly flat, except for Bepton Down which is up then down. This is an easy but longish climb. The path does slope sideways a bit and the chalk is slippery so walking poles may help. Total climb is about 1050 feet which is less than we often do on Sunday walks, and we will wait at the top (possibly for me). If the weather is kind there will be good views and a lunch stop at the top. After lunch we come back via Elsted Marsh (clue is in the name) and there are plenty of muddy paths but nothing excessive.
Heath, open fields, woods, views, primroses, violets, and a few cowslips.
Coffee and lunch stops so brings supplies as required.
Good waterproof boots, and walking poles recommended.
