Overview

Walk along the promenade and shingle to the hamlet of Shellness, and then south-west through the Harty marshes bird sanctuary. The bird hide there allows views across three waterways and the Swale so small binoculars will show all the sights. Return back via the Isle of Harty Walk past the bird hide (2) used to observe birds during the breeding season. (Not open to us).
