From Ryarsh we head through woodland to Birling, Paddlesworth and on to the Pilgrims Way. We go eastwards on the Pilgrims Way, skirting Whitehorse Wood before picking up the Wealdway, which takes us down to the Coldrum Stones. This is a Neolithic Long Barrow 4,000 – 5,000 years old. They are one of seven such tombs around the Medway Valley. From here we enter Ryarsh Wood, coming out at Cleggett's Farm then back down to Ryarsh.
Terrain: Good footpaths throughout, including woodland trails, farmland, a couple of quiet lanes and The Pilgrims Way.
