Overview

We will walk alone farm tracks, apple orchards, black currant fields ,wild meadows, ponds. Some narrow paths with a few stinging nettles nothing too extreme. There are horses but fenced off in fields. Lovely views of Medway Valley North of Matfield.  We will take a short break at Granny's bench on Charringtons farm . Lunch break at Matfield Green benches, about half way into walk.

Terrain:  About  200 metres from start there are some steep up and down sections of 200 approx: total metres when dry easy - if wet could be very slippery. Remainder of walk fairly level/flat. A few ordinary stiles and kissing gates. 3 or 4  main roads to cross over.  Approximately 400 metres of road walking total.
