We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Please join me for a 10 mile circular walk from Avington, across the Itchen up to Micheldever Woods. Skirting through the lower part of the woods, joining the Oxdrove Way over farmland to Abbotstone. Dropping down to Itchen Stoke and over to Ovington. Picking up the Itchen Way back to Avington.
After rain, sections can be a bit muddy, so poles useful. Relatively flat walking, at a medium pace, with beautiful river views, woodland walks and typical Hampshire countryside.
There will be morning coffee stop, a picnic lunch and comfort breaks.
