From Tortworth farm shop top car park, we head past the church and ancient chestnut tree, across meadows to Avening Green , then follow the river to Charfield and Churchend. We then pass by the working quarry where we may have a short wait if blasting is in progress. More fields and lanes back to Tortworth. Coffee stop only.
