From Hopton War Memorial we will walk across fields to the River Cam, past the sewage works and back via Upthorpe and Cam Green. Terrain 1 - fairly level, not much climbing. We will be walking on footpaths, pavements and farm tracks. There are several stiles and a couple are old, high and narrow. It will be muddy after rain. Views across to the River Severn. Meet at 10.20am. The War Memorial is close to Hopton C of E Primary School - it will be a school holiday so there will be parking for 6 cars outside the school. More parking is available all along Hopton Road.
