We walk along the canal towards Marple. Leave at Windlehurst Hall and across farmland to Disley Golf Club. We cross the busy A6 and through houses to a path onto Brocklehurst Brook. Follow the brook to the canal and back to the cp.
I can divert around one impassable stretch but there will still be one muddy path.
An easy walk but moderate due to approx 6 high stiles & 2 ladder stiles. A few steep steps at the end back to the canal.
Dogs on leads through the farmland.
The Boars Head at Nelsons Pit is handy for anyone wanting lunch.
