Overview

Meet at the end of Apprentice Lane, opposite Styal Cricket Club.

We will walk along Altrincham Road and onto the bridle path to Oversley Lodge Farm. From here we pick up the NCW through Styal Woods to the hotel. Crossing the A538 we will walk along the BVW past Oak Farm and Mossbrow and back across A538 to Jim Evison playing field. If the footpath has reopened, we will walk beside Pigginshaw Brook or alternatively on the footpath parallel with Kings Road. From Twinnies bridge we will follow the River Bollin to Quarry Bank Mill and back to Styal village

No stiles, no dogs, no Giant’s Castle Bridge!

Optional drink at Ship Inn after the walk.
