We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a moderate walk of 9.25 miles with a short, steepish ascent to the canal towards the end.
Route - Mellor Golf Course, Brookbottom, Hague Bar, Peak Forest Canal, Goyt Way and Marple Locks back to the car park.
There is just one easy stile and there are lovely views, particularly on the first part of the walk.

Start Point - Brabyns Park, Marple Bridge. The car park was still free at the time of the recce!
