Overview

This is an Easy Walk of 8.5 miles, meet on Church Lane, that point which is half way between The Harrington Arms and St James’ Church and use the stile as a start to cross the fields, heading south where North Rode Church becomes a target to aim for, before teasingly turning left to end up at the Locks near Bosley and coffee. Then along the canal as far as Sutton Reservoir where we will have lunch. After lunch, back along the canal, through Danes Moss Nature Reserve and going past Gawsworth Hall to the start point.

It’s about 8.5 miles using my favoured string on a map technique, so all good with that then.

If your groups walk is fully booked come and join us, don’t forget to bring a flask and packed lunch, we stop once for a drink and once more for lunch, setting off at 10:00 a.m. with whoever has turned up.
