Overview

A lovely walk in the Bradgate Park area taking in Old John's Tower and the ruins of Lady Jane Grey's childhood home. There is only one 'real' hill and a good chance of seeing some deer; some road walking and possible mud in parts.
There will be a coffee and lunch stop with toilets.

The walk starts from Swithland Wood south car park which charges £3 for the day ,coins only.

Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website , where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
