A flat, leisurely stroll by the River Trent to Hazelford Lock and then back across country through the pretty village of Morton to Fiskerton. There will be a break for coffee and the option of a lunch stop at picnic tables on the green at Fiskerton. The walk will then continue to take in the village of Rolleston and the Kate Greenaway trail.
Refreshments are available at the Bromley pub by the river at Fiskerton.
For those who wish, the walk can be shortened by 2.2 miles and end at the lunch stop in Fiskerton.
As parking is limited , numbers on this walk will be restricted to 20 although it is possible to reach Fiskerton by train. You would then need to walk 1 mile down the road to the start point. Please inform the walk leader in advance if you want to take this option as they would then delay the start time.
