The Walk is 9 miles long and will take around 4 hours. There are 6 well maintained stiles, and it's currently muddy in places with some inclines.

Starting from the car park at Compton road, we take the path through the woods, joining the Staffordshire way in parts. we take the bridleway past the Ice House, leading to the magnificent Enville House, with its beautiful grounds and duck ponds. Following the lanes past Brindley Hall and over the fields and lanes back to  the main road, where we cross back over to Kinver Edge, a National Trust site. We follow the path along past the spectacular Red sandstone caves, past Nanny's Rock to the trig point of 164m. then descend along the path past the Rock Houses and back to the car park.
