Overview

A varied scenic walk going through varied countryside: woodland, heathland, river & 1 or 2 fields. Lovely views. Toilets available after 3 miles. Possible short pub stop in Wolverley. Joint walk with Wolverhampton Ramblers and Sandwell Ramblers.

We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at 08:45am.  The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
Please arrive at the start at least 10 minutes before the advertised start time to allow a prompt start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Walkers should check on www.wolverhamptonramblers.org.uk that the walk has not been cancelled before leaving home.
If a member has a medical issue which may affect their participation on the walk, please advise the walk leader before the start of the walk. Please inform the back marker if a comfort stop is needed or if you are leaving the walk early.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
Walkers will need a packed lunch.
Please notify the leader if you intend to travel direct to the walk start.
Car sharing recommended due to restricted parking space.

Roadside Parking, Holy Austin Rock, Compton Road, Kinver. Leave Walsall by A454 Black Country Route, at Keyway Junction take A463 and follow A463 to A4123. Turn L then shortly R to regain A463 and follow it to A449. Take first exit at island and follow A449 to junction with A458. Turn R onto A458, after about 1 mile turn L (signed Kinver), at major road go L then R up Meddins Lane and R again at top to find parking area.
