We follow the side of Noddsdale Water, pass Brisbane Mains Farm before ascending The Knock, the site of the hill fort. We return to the west onto Routeburn Road back into Largs.

Local Grade: C+

Terrain: There is about 4 km of paved surface on paths and lanes. The farm track and hill paths are very muddy with a few boggy sections. The ascents and descents are quite long but gradual.
