Overview

From Lamaload Reservoir, the route climbs towards Cat's Tor, then swings north towards Jenkin's Chapel before climing again to take a concessionary path along the ridge of Charles Head - 390 metres one of the highest spots in Cheshire, with extensive views across the Cheshire Plain towards Liverpool. From there, several routes are possible to Bollington, then below White Nancy to Rainow and back to the water treatment works at Lamaload.

Depending on the weather, an alternative walk to Eccles Pike or Mount Famine may be substituted at short notice. Please let me know if you are intending to come.
