Overview

10am start. Car park near Bottoms reservoir Langley.
8.2 miles and about 1500ft of ascent
We warm up by taking the steep ascent up to the Teggs Nose viewpoint and then along to the carpark (toilet stop if needed). We descend Saddlers Way and have an (early perhaps) coffee break at a convenient bench at the bottom.

We go up through Macclesfield Forest to Forest Chapel and then over to the Standing Stone carpark and along the path from there towards lovely views over the valley. We have lunch here and then walk through the Forest again back to Bottoms reservoir
Please bring packed lunch
