Overview

Whilst this is the Leaders Lunch walk, it is open to everyone. From the Saxon Arms, we will cross the busy A37 and the railway line and head out along the course of the Roman Road to Grimstone Dairy. Turning right we take the gentle climb up to Jackman's Cross through the remains of the  ancient settlement of Grimstone Down. After reaching the "summit" we head back to the pub via Charminster Down and Stratton Dairy.
