Overview

This is a memorial walk for Peter Evans who was a popular previous Chairman of South Dorset Ramblers. Attendees should be members of Ramblers who knew Peter  and his wife Hazel, who will be attending with members of their family.

We will start at the Swannery car park and follow the King Charles III Coast Path eastwards before cutting inland to Portesham and returning to Abbotsbury via the disused railway track (which is now part of the Hardy Trail).

There is one steep climb at the start of the walk but we will allow  plenty of time at the top to enjoy the excellent views over the Swannery.
