On leaving the Cock & Rabbit PH we will go across level fields to Kingsash and then drop down a hillside (moderate slope but good path) to meet the Ridgeway long distance path. We follow this for a short while ascending up through woodland to proceed on the level through Lordling Wood to the Old Swan pub (sadly mostly closed now). We then gently descend to Swan Bottom and equally gently up back to The Lee. A couple of minor road crossings but otherwise the walk is off-road.
Park in the Cock & Rabbit car park if staying for lunch or otherwise alongside the village common.
