A varied circular walk through some woodland and open countryside. We head off from Lewes Station through woodland and follow the River Ouse out of Lewes. Then uphill to Offham and continuing up to the top of Mount Harry.
We then descend through farmland and make our way back into Lewes through Southover to the station passing through Grange Gardens, where there is the option of refreshments and toilets.
Accessible by train. Catch the 09:58 train from Brighton station which arrives in Lewes at 10:12.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers. Click here (https://www.ramblers.org.uk/membership) to apply. The cost is very reasonable and there are also other benefits. Please then bring your membership card with you.
