A flat and varied urban walk visiting interesting parkland, wildlife heritage sites, historic hunting forest and a nature reserve.
Lilly Hill park comprises of mixed woods, parkland, wooden sculptures and boasts the longest wooden picnic table in England. We will pass behind Martin Heron station into Swinley Park part of Windsor Great Forest then on to Englemere pond nature reserve. Here we will take a short stop before making our way through Longhill park back into Lilly Hill park.
There's likely to be some mud around Englemere pond, boots or study walk shoes recommended. Please bring water & snack. Optional pub stop at the end.
