Overview

Strenuous, hilly walk from Liphook station  through woodlands and open countryside before joining up with a less walked section of the South Downs Way.  We walk up to one of the high points on the South Downs Way called Beacon Hill before descending to Petersfield.

Total distance of 22 miles with ascent of about 730 metres.

Please bring a packed lunched with pub stop at the end.

Given the mileage and ascent, this walk is most suited to those who do walk regularly and comfortable with walking at a good pace for the full day.
