We start our hike at 10am from Liss town centre and head for the Sussex Border Path which will hopefully afford us with views over to the South Downs on a clear day. We then head eastwards to pick up the Serpent Trail which takes us over to Rake where we then head off to the Shipwrights Way which will deliver us back to Liss.
There are a few gentle ascents/descents and a handful of stiles.
All welcome and no need to pre-book. Liss is accessible by train.
The hike will be at a reasonable pace and dogs welcome under appropriate control.
We will stop for a short break after an hour or so for a coffee/drink and there will be a picnic lunch stop.
It would be good if we can support The Whistle Stop pub for drinks at the end of the hike as pubs need our support in these challenging times for the hospitality industry.
