Overview

From Sherfield English Village Hall our walk will take us up across farmland, wooded copses and past farm buildings and cottages. For cat lovers among us, the highlight might be the Bramley Cottage Cat Hotel as the footpath goes through the garden here and you may be able to inspect some residents. The going is gently undulating on good paths and tracks.

Park at Sherfield Village Hall. From Romsey, take the A27 for about 5 miles. Passing Gilberts Nursery on the left, keep going to a cross roads with Branches Lane and Dandy's Ford Lane. Continue on for about 400 yards and the Village Hall is on the right. It's a black and white building that's easily missed. If you go past the Glebe Garage a little way further and also on the right, you've missed it.
