Update added Saturday 24 January following the recce undertaken on Friday 23 January:
The field sections of the walk were quite wet and muddy in places. Some hilly sections mainly on fields but all manageable . A small number of stiles.
Car parking on the community car park plus on the road by the car park too.
New walkers are extremely welcome. It would be helpful if new walkers would text the walk leader (Alison H) regarding their intention to walk on Sunday and in case any changes are required.
Walk leaders Alison H and David H will meet for car sharing at Gatacre car park, Oswestry, at 9.15 leaving by 9.30 am to meet other walkers at the walk start in Llanfechain.
Original walk description:
The circular route follows quiet country lanes, woodland tracks and fields with a small number of stiles. Walking poles are recommended as some sections of the walk may be slippy and muddy.
Please note : the walk heads over towards Bwlch-y-Cibau but does not actually go through this village.
Should there be a decline in the weather on Saturday 24 January and overnight to the day of the walk please check back here regarding the walk.
Walkers should bring food and drink for two breaks on the walk.
