Overview

A new and slightly challenging 8 mile walk starting and finishing at Llys y Fran. Some new and overgrown paths, stiles and bridges. It is mainly fields, but is interspersed with woodland and farm tracks. Some sunken lanes that at the time of the recce were flooded.

This is a shortened version of a longer Llys y Fran walk. As always there is a mix of archaeology on the route including the ancient St Meilyr Church and the Motte and Bailey at New Moat.

Sorry not suitable for dogs.
